Linux 2.6
VFS: Cannot open root device "302" o unknown-block(3,2)
please append a correct "root=" boot option
kernel panic: VFS:Unable to mount root fs on unknow-block(3,2)
That’s what I get when I try to startup with my Linux kernel 2.6. I cannot understand it, as long as I installed it from the official Debian package.
Back to 2.4…
CSI
I’ve finished to see the first half of chapters of its first season. I love it. Reminds me the books I read by Sir Arthur about Mr. Holmes…

Neuros Audio 20GB
Yesterday I recieved my brand new Neuros 20GB unit. It’s is wider than I thought but I like it.
My problem is, after all, that I can’t configure it with positron (after solving a little problem with positron itself). I’m thinking about using positron’s code to do a GNOME front-end o GTK2 plugin, but I’m not sure…
Anyway, I still have to look for a jack-transformer for my AC/Adapter…

Two fronts in my personal war
Nowadays, I’ve got two fronts where I’m fighting to solve:
The first one is the reality that I haven’t got inet connection at home since two months ago. I’m very angry with Telefonica’s tech-support (who kicked my ass and treated me as an stupid), and I cannot use anything (no apt, no mail, no download, no readings…). My only contact with the web is at work. Really silly!
When this first has been solved (probably I’ll end up buying a new DSLRouter), I’ll try to get involved in some (or few or one) FS projects. I’m thinking wich ones. I prefer the ones related to GNOME, Debian and audio user applications. But I’m not constrained on these. I’ll keep browsing…

Software Patents voted in Europe
Since the final result has gone to YES, the important thing is that the final screen left in the law draws an scenario where the free software community is not going to be hurted. The most relevant point, as I see, is that now this issue is legalized (so there is not a hole), and we are not out this law.
Thanks to all the people who did this possible.
