    It’s out. It looks awesome. I really want to get it. I’m going to order it soon, I think.

DirecTV DSL sux so much!

    I received my DSL gateway on like November 2. I’m still without service, and each time I call in to complain I get an even dumber story than before. It’s neatly summarized thusly:
    • DirecTV DSL doesn’t let you move your service. You must cancel it and restart it at your new apartment.
    • If you cancel and restart your service, DirecTV DSL gets really confused.

    Tony the piano tuner is in town now. I talked to him last night, and he talked about how stupid the 60s were. He’s like the only person from the 60s who actually learned anything from his time. He says everyone who did anything influential during that time can’t remember it because they were so fucked up on drugs.

    I’m going to try to start working on a NeXT-like paned tree widget for Jonathan’s GtkTreeView stuff. That would rule.
