    I’m really looking forward to leaving this place. Just a few more days!

    My quartet just had our last coaching on the Beethoven Op.59/3 quartet this morning. It rocks.

    Looks like I totally jumped the gun with saying that the Matrox Parhelia looked awesome. All the reviews have not been very hot, its performance doesn’t beat the GeForce 4, plus ATI is releasing their R300 soon and NVidia’s NV30 comes out in a couple months, both of which sound pretty amazing. But we’ll see what they’re like when they arrive. I think I read that they are ditching integer color in favor of floating point.

Blender

    I’m happy to see that Blender is, or soon will be, released as Free Software[tm]. I am curious to see if there will be many new hackers that work on it. I suspect very few.

Bill

    I saw Bill yesterday when he came to visit me and Kasia. He’s at the Blossom Festival at Kent State University this summer, and so he came out to hang out with us. That was pretty cool.
