  • In librsvg Christian Persch improved the decoding of data: URIs.
  • Cosimo Cecchi changed gnome-screenshot to make non interactive mode headless, making it just save the image to the saved screenshots directory.
  • Aurimas Černius added core synchronization support to gnote.
  • Carlos Garcia Campos pushed some initial work porting devhelp to WebKit2; he later posted details about the port and the process (porting devhelp to WebKit2).
  • Milan Crha added support for setting user’s folder permissions into evolution-mapi. (GNOME bug 667714)
  • Oleksij Rempel switched Cheese from theora/ogg to vp8/webm.
  • In gparted Rogier Goossens added the ability to set a new random UUID on file systems that provide the appropriate tools to perform this action. (GNOME bug 667278)
  • Will Thompson added support for functions which return GError into pygobject. (GNOME bug 666098)
  • Alexander Larsson added a first run dialog to gnome-contacts.
  • Matthias Clasen added a resource tool to glib, this lets the developer poke at resources in elf files and standalone resource bundles.
  • James Le Cuirot contributed the possibility to align text vertically into glabels.
  • In gthumb Paolo Bacchilega added High quality zoom for SVG images.
  • Adel Gadllah moved filesystem I/O to a thread when taking a screenshot in gnome-shell. (GNOME bug 652952)
  • Florian Brosch contributed support for comments to the GIR parser in Vala.
  • Pascal de Bruijn made gnome-color-manager use smaller/faster display calibration target sets.

  • Robert Ancell updated gnome-nettool to use gsettings (GNOME bug 625900), he also fixed autocompletion and dropdown history.
  • Roberto Majadas pushed his win32 branch of nanny, the GNOME parental control application.
  • A simple distribution upgrade tool using PackageKit has been started by Richard Hughes, he blogged about it in Preupgrade, meet PackageKit.
  • Empathy has been fixed to to support multiple telephone fields. (GNOME bug 630421)
  • Sandy Armstrong started an HTML5 offline note application built on jQuery Mobile, for snowy.
  • The media-keys gnome-settings-daemon plugin has been ported to GDBus by Bastien Nocera. (GNOME bug 634104)
  • Also in gnome-settings-daemon Rodrigo Moya added a settings key to disable boot time configuration of XRandR configuration. (GNOME bug 631388)
  • Paolo Bacchilega added Windows Imaging Format (.wim, .swm) support to file-roller.
  • Holger Berndt added the possibility to register an external bulk rename tool in Nautilus. (GNOME bug 306489)
  • Jim Evins refined the barcode objects in glables, drawing a outline and using a more sophisticated test to determine if the cursor is on a barcode object.
  • Johannes Shmid ported Anjuta to GTK+ 3, and started the work to port Glade, on the “offscreen-gtk3” branch. Also in the GTK+ 3 port serie, Thomas H.P. Andersen ported gnotski (from gnome games) and Ignacio Casal Quinteiro ported gtranslator.
  • In GTK+ 3 itself Alexander Larsson added GtkRadioGroup, a group of object having radiobutton like behaviour, and Bastien Nocera added support for a custom GtkAssistant page type. (GNOME bug 576498)

  • Shaun McCance merged the new desktop help that was being written in a Gitorious repository by Phil Bull and others into the gnome-user-docs module.
  • Daniel P. Berrange removed the server side framebuffer cached in a GdkPixmap in gtk-vnc, as the client side was changed to use a cairo image surface.
  • Giovanni Campagna completed a library for exposing required parts of gnome-bluetooth to GNOME Shell.
  • Totem has been ported to the new GApplication API.
  • Some initial Mallard pages have been added by Mario Blätterman to pybibliographer.
  • Gabriel Burt updated banshee to show episodes in a grid view.
  • Viven Malerba optimized virtual tables usage in libgda.
  • Jim Evins added support for elliptical labels to the template designer in glabels.
  • Support for monotonic time has been added to glib by Ryan Lortie. He also commited (untested) support for GApplication actions.
  • In notification-daemon Jon McCann added a notification box class that updates in place. (GNOME bug 633457)

  • Jim Evins added native support for SVG images to glabels.
  • Ignacio Casal Quinteiro continued porting gedit plugins to libpeas, and Philip Withnall ported totem plugins.
  • The possibility to edit metadata of many images is now possible again in gthumb (GNOME bug 618187)
  • Ryan Lortie added a GSettings port of Cheese, in the gsettings branch.
  • Vinagre got support for RDP connections, wrapping the rdesktop program. (GNOME bug 503456)
  • Matthias Clasen added bash completion support for gsettings.
  • Nate Stedman added possiblity for the user to insert images into ease.
  • Support for OSSv4 and SunAudio has been added to gstreamer-properties. (GNOME bug 618402)
  • Shaun McCance finished the transition to GDBus of yelp.
  • In the various Summer of Code Jamie Nicol has been making progress on Last.fm radio playback in rhythmbox, Luca Invernizzi finished the first version of a Launchpad backend for Getting Things GNOME, etc.
