  • In libgxps Carlos Garcia Campos added manpages for the xps manipulation command-line tools.
  • David Zeuthen added a new “Format Disk” dialog to gnome-disk-utility.
  • In gnome-boxes Marc-André Lureau added various stats (disk, network, CPU) to the machines.
  • Jasper St. Pierre added an “update” view to extensions.gnome.org that the Shell can check on a cron job.
  • Jens Georg changed rygel to batch URIs for thumbnail requests. (GNOME bug 661334)
  • Sjoerd Simons changed empathy to let the hardware (pulseaudio) audio source control the volume, instead of amplifying in software.
  • Dan Winship added support for unencrypted PKCS#8 keys to glib-networking. (GNOME bug 664321)
  • Cosimo Cecchi pushed a first implementation of an “Organize” dialog into gnome-documents.
  • In gnome-games Robert Ancell ported gnomine from C to Vala.
  • Hubert Figuière implemented undo for properties in Niepce.
  • Shaun McCance simplified docbook bibliography handling in yelp-xsl.
  • Nicolas Dufresne fixed glib to clear the proxy address upon retry. (GNOME bug 664141)
  • Mike Fleetwood added labelling of brtfs filesystems into gparted.

  • Jesse van den Kieboom ported the commander gedit plugin to libpeas and GTK+ 3. (GNOME bug 640075)
  • Shaun McCance revamped the platform overview document, giving each tech its own page.
  • Dov Grobgeld added a calibration tool to the giv image viewer.
  • Paolo Bacchilega added a new sharpen tool to gthumb.
  • Bastien Nocera switched Totem to use clutter-gst to draw video, this allows to draw arbitrary actors on top of the video widget, while having them resize and move with the video widget.
  • A few days later he implemented the GstNavigation interface in clutter-gst video sink, making the DVD menus work.
  • Fabien Parent contributed a GSettings implemented to Nemiver configuration manager.
  • Ignacio Casal Quinteiro added a way to automatize the profile filling in gstranslator. (GNOME bug 547610)
  • Jonathan Matthew ported all of Rhythmbox (core & plugins) to use GSettings.
  • Alban Crequy added contacts support in the flickr module of libsocialweb.
  • Diego Escalante Urrelo continued his work on the epiphany plugin system, converting existing epiphany-extensions to libpeas.
  • Ekaterina Gerasimova contributed new Mallard documentation to Vinagre.
  • Will Thompson added an eMusic web store source to Banshee. (GNOME bug 623828)
  • Garrett Regier contributed a GJS plugin loaded to libpeas.
  • Alexander Larsson added an experimental toplevel window mode to the GTK+ broadway backend; this mode makes each toplevel window get its own browser window, with popup windows using the browser window of their transient parent.Jesse van den Kieboom ported the commander gedit plugin to libpeas and GTK+ 3.   • Michal Hruby added a Zeitgeist dataprovider plugin to gedit.
  • Shaun McCance merged the search & indexing branch of Yelp.
  • Richard Hughes added a updates plugin in gnome-settings-daemon, to notify user of available package updates.
  • D-Bus applets in GNOME Panel were fixed to work in multiscreen environments. (GNOME bug 632369)
  • Bastien Nocera added a ‘Add’ button to the control center background panel.
  • Guillaume Desmottes updated Empathy to set the same program class in all binaries, to make all empathy apps windows appear as the same application in GNOME Shell. (GNOME bug 642440)
  • Cosimo Cecchi added a floating bar to Nautilus.
  • Garrett Regier made the libpeas plugin manager show a dialog when disabling a plugin which is depended on.
  • In gimp Michael Natterer added a GimpTileBackendTileManager which does nothing so far but will help GEGL migration a lot.
  • Eugenia Gabrielova updated inline search in Anjuta to support replace and highlighting. (GNOME bug 638134)
  • Jasper St. Pierrer added a history manager, to be used by runDialog and lookingGlass, into GNOME Shell. (GNOME bug 642237)
  • Also in GNOME Shell Guillaume Desmottes ported the Telepathy bits to use telepathy-glib. (GNOME bug 620416)

  • In the ongoing transitions emerillon has been ported to GSettings, while evolution, evolution-data-server, and brasero have been ported to GDBus (GNOME bug 622884 and others).
  • Also glibmm gained a wrapper for GApplication, and gtkmm another one for GtkApplication.
  • Mike Gorse added thread safety around main loop invocations in PyGTK.
  • Eye of GNOME got a settings conversion file, to migrate configuration from GConf to GSettings.
  • Jonh Wendell ported Vinagre to use libpeas for its plugins.
  • And a basic support for plugin dependencies has been added to libpeas.
  • Cheese effect preview elements have been changed to be constructed on-demand, rather than at startup, which has a great effect on startup performance.
  • Matthias Clasen improved a lot the coverage of unit tests in GLib.
  • Michael Natterer started porting various bits of Gimp from drawing with GDK to drawing with Cairo.
  • Paolo Borelli made a first cut at a fonts panel for gnome control center 3.0, at the moment a straight port of the fonts tab of the current appearance preferences dialog.
  • In Gnumeric Jean Brefort added support for importing old Guppi graphs from gnumeric 1.0 files.
  • Nate Stedman added support for shapes and backgrounds to Ease.
  • In Vala Michael Terry added support for the new bytestring GVariant (GNOME bug 624986)
  • Last but not least Cosimo Cecchi removed the backgrounds/emblems feature in Nautilus.
