		<description>Just keep doing, don&#039;t let this &quot;stop energy&quot; stop you. SANE is so in need to be pulled kicking and screaming in fresh waters. Their backends are outdated, they are slow and clumsy, with too much configure options in Xsane and similar frontends. I tried GS 0.6 finally without crashes on my Epson DX7400 and was like - wtf, only few buttons and you are set? Felt so relaxed while doing scanning :)

p.s. btw, can you give us a link to your post on hal list? I would like to see reacton there. I have several dreams about using HAL to connecting MIDI and other musical devices to free desktop/GNOME.</description>
