There is no mysterious reason that made me change my mind all of a sudden, actually. My post was concise enough not to let that come across clearly, but unless I am failing to analyse the situation properly, which I doubt, my desire and inclination to study Law has been an undeniable fact for my entire life, which my family and I have failed to acknowledge. There was my interest in computers, and the fact that both my parents are engineers might have contributed to that.

I used to say, when I was 6 years old, that I wanted to be a lawyer. A decade later, it still is something that fascinates me, something I believe I would love to work with - probably in association with computers and free software, after what I have gone through in the meantime - and, as far as I can tell, something I have more ability to do. I have never been a very good programmer anyway ;)

Subversion is amazing really. A GNOME/Nautilus extension could also be done for simple GUI use.
CVS will be dead in a few years if not months > 12. It is a shame that Sourceforge has not done the switch yet.

Maybe it should be Top 15 of the last 4 weeks instead of the last Month because it would be more dynamic not to erase the statistics on every 1st of the next month

I am sorry to hear that it ate it, however there might still be hope. :)
Please check your Backup route, OOo by default keeps a copy of your documents and you can find them at:
~/.openoffice.org2/user/backup/
