We’re pleased to announce to all of you
A fresh stable version of gexiv2.
As before, we’ve made it with care and affection,
And now, GObject introspection.
And in case it kept you up ’til mornings,
You’ll like the reduced spurious warnings.
Some minor makefile stuff was fixed,
And ‘configure’s perms bug has been nixed.
We think it should help greatly in your hackage,
So please hop on over and download the package.
I would be remiss if I didn’t point out this fix: http://redmine.yorba.org/issues/5484, but, sadly, I couldn’t think of anything to rhyme with ‘altitude’ and wasn’t sure how the person (thanks!) who submitted the fix for this would react to being referred to as an ‘exalted dude’.
Clint, I have no problems being referred to as ‘exalted dude’ 😉
