That is indeed a bit silly. It really does seem to require that the application (using this API) quits or crashes. I suppose you should warn the user that a fatal error happened and quit Glom. Hopefully it&#039;s very very rare, and there&#039;s no point worrying too much about something that isn&#039;t going to happen.

You might also try to find out who added that function (by looking at a ChangeLog, for instance), and ask him. But I&#039;d leave it until later, if at all.</description>
