Why the interweb rules

Because you can pull off some really neat tricks these days, that a few years ago you wouldn’t even have dreamed of.

Google Reader has a nice feature in that I can share feed entries that I like. This means that I can make an RSS feed of RSS feed entries that I really enjoyed. And i’ve fed this in to WordPress so it appears on the sidebar for all to see. Why is this so special? Well I use google reader every day anyway, so it’s easy to mark an entry as shared as part of my normal habits!

Rhythmbox has nice Last.fm integration and my profile there is once again getting updated. An a RSS feed of that site means my blog is also getting a feed of any recently listened to tracks :D

What i’d like to see now is a native RSS feed from amazon’s wishlist! That would be cool. There are scripts to have this, but it would be nice if it “just worked”..
