It would be like ruling out GNOME 2.22 because of GNOME 1. (3) Conversion experience is irrelevant - the migration tools are much better (but neither git-svn or bzr-svn can handle our SVN without a few backported patches). (4) Are you saying we should ignore everyone who doesn't like Git, because they don't count, and force sysadmins to do all the work? Don't they have enough to do?
