Noticed that Channel 4’s on demand service 4oD is now advertising mac compatibility. So I gave it a shot on Ubuntu Jaunty (with the full fat dirty evil flash 10). Ladies and gents, it looks like 4 on demand now works on Linux too, shame they didnt advertise that on the tele.

if you install moonshine/moonlight you can also watch demand five. Obviously there is get_iplayer for itv, i can’t see any technical reasons for itv player not working, but it seems not to.
Does it actually work?
Whichever program you try to watch, it shows an episode of Countdown.
This was an issue with ‘get_iplayer’ and 4oD support, and the developers eventually gave up chasing Ch4.
