Conduit Talk

Friday, January 19th, 2007

So John had his mini-conf presentation about Conduit on Monday. After lots of googling and guessing at URL’s i’ve found a video of the whole thing. It looks like the intro has been cut off, which is a bit of a shame, but the talk looks really good. I wish I could have been there :-( If, like me, you couldn’t make it.. or you were there and just want to be blown away again… then here is a link for you:

I’m looking forward to headless Conduit myself, even though I don’t have a use for such a thing. And of course, the KDE port (and my Windows port…) would be great for the free desktop in general.

First Patch!

Monday, November 27th, 2006

Today I made my first patch for an open source project. It’s for conduit, a gnome python app for synchronizing data. It feels really empowering to have my change, even though it is trivial, accepted into a real actual viable project :D
