We have docs!

I was really struck by a comment in this review of Foresight.

The nice thing about it though, is that its well documented and the Foresight Linux wiki has loads of documentation included.

I can’t take any credit for the docs, there have been some new members of the team that have really been doing a great job on these. And there will be more real soon, including screencasts explaining usage of some of the default apps.

Check out some of the work done by Paul Cutler, Thilo Pfennig, Paul Scott-Wilson, Antonio Meireles, and others. Many thanks and keep up the great work!

Affinity… very slick!

So Paul got affinity packaged up for Foresight today, I have to say I am impressed! Compliments avant-window-navigator nicely… keep up the great work!

They both require compiz to be enabled, but so worth it. To try it:

sudo conary update avant-window-navigator affinity

You can add affinity to your panel as an applet, and avant is available in the menu (Applications->Accessories->Avant Window Navigator)

New GDM theme

Thanks to Stef’s excellent work, we have a new default GDM theme. The old one has served us well, but it is time for a change. Thanks Stef, great work!
