> even though the development happens in a public repository,
> sometimes we're not very good in communicating about what
> we're doing
You could help by correcting this page, and keeping it up-to-date:
http://maemo.org/maemowiki/MaemoModules/3.0
At the moment, the branching policy is not clear.

Of course, you'll probably want to create a new page for 4.0, or whatever you are calling the current work. Well, you'll probably want to call it "next" or suchlike because the version numbers tend to be Nokia secrets.

Great!
UID and HID are two of my armchair passions. Learning how to get involved with the improvement the UI for internet tablets is something that I would really like.
A few points:
-I like that the OS2007 is more thumb friendly than the OS2006 was.
-We still need a way to rotate the screen coded into the hildon UI framework. Right now, FBReader really looks silly in portrait mode and not in full screen. and other programs could take advantage of this too: particularly ToDo lists.
-I'm very glad to hear that you are moving away from a hard coded resolution for the UI.
-It's nice to see how you are methodically fixing inconsistent elements with more universal ones.
Keep it up.
Junio

A few points:
-I like that the OS2007 is more thumb friendly than the OS2006 was.

-We still need a way to rotate the screen coded into the hildon UI framework. Right now, FBReader really looks silly in portrait mode and not in full screen. and other programs could take advantage of this too: particularly ToDo lists.

-I’m very glad to hear that you are moving away from a hard coded resolution for the UI.

-It’s nice to see how you are methodically fixing inconsistent elements with more universal ones.

Keep it up.
Junio
