I believe the logic behind this is a major technology overhaul ‘underneath the hood’ (ie, the API’s).

I vote for simple and cloud-aware

…. and proper gnome icons with borders not like oxygen icons, which while pretty, are unreadable at 16×16

I only hope that GTK+ gets BETTER, i want to see the BEST program’s GUI ever created…
To be clear: better than OS X GUIs (simple, nice, productive, good looking).
