I think you&#039;ve pretty much hit the nail on the head with your summary, but I think more attention should be given to the middle-ground between the Hypothetical Vectacity Future (all-SVG, all the time) and the current state (where SVG is treated as Just Another Bitmap Image Format). SVG&#039;s weakness is the difficulty of expressing what HTML/CSS authors call &quot;liquid layout&quot;; if the V3 theme format were designed around shaping and sizing SVG content, that would probably give you a lot of Benefit #1 and some of Benefit #2 without as much of the drawbacks.</description>
