Sorry to hear about that, it worked quite ok on my system, but sometimes it’s just easier to hack a custom solution than getting a grip on an existing tool, I know that.

I personally think the GStreamer convert idea is hysterically brilliant; wish I was good enough at GStreamer to build it myself. I keep having to fall back on ffmpeg for this sort of thing, and I’d much rather use GStreamer…

Great choregraphy indeed, very interesting.
I’m doing salsa also ( and even give salsa lessons ), and I’m pleasantly surprised to see some Opensource dev doing salsa.
