Michael: performance will depend on the features you are using. The more pixmaps (background- and border-images) the slower and more memory intensive your theme will be. That said we’re only at 0.2 at the moment, and there’s lots of potential to speed things up, hopefully around 0.5 or so.

This sounds wonderful… However I wonder about the performance. How does css-engine compare in terms of drawing speed and memory usage to let’s say clearlooks?
