Hello. How did you find me?

Ah, I see where the problem was: I had Augusta being Charles's wife, whereas she was actually his mother. So:

I'm Thomas Thurman, my father is Mike Thurman; his father is Robert Thurman; his mother was Madeleine Shum; her father was Walter Shum; his father was the Reverend Frederick Shum; his parents were George Shum MP and Ann Samler; Ann's parents were Harman Samler and Ann Starr, and her sister was Mary Samler, who married Sir John Eamer, whose daughter was Augusta Caroline Eamer, who married Nathaniel Kemp (who apparently built Ovingdean Hall! I'm glad you brought him to my attention) whose son was Charles Eamer Kempe, who made all that stained glass. Thank you!

Hi

With regard to your family history. Augusta Eamer married Nathaniel Kemp and their SON was Charles Eamer Kempe. Charles added the E on Kemp to make it look more old fashioned as he was in to Gothic art. Nathaniel was a rich man...I've an idea that parts of Brighton are named after him. Augusta's father was Sir John Eamer one time Lord Mayor of London.

Regards
