That was not a 'mistake'; jwz doesn't know what he's talking about in the context of <i>community-driven</i> QA. But he gave it a catchy name so everyone still talks about it, even though he's wrong. Sadly, I think I've not directly addressed the issue in a blog post (I have in my various papers linked to from <a href="http://tieguy.org/talks/" rel="nofollow">tieguy.org/talks/</a> ) so I can't link to a fuller explanation right now, and I sure as hell am not going to write it.
