Very good news about Dirac. About the encoder program, I found OggConvert in the Fedora RPMs, which is quite basic but works.

Hi Stu,
I love Thoggen, but since the problem I tried to solve was transcoding files to be able to play them on my PS3 I needed something which output the same codecs as my PS3 supports.

Its too bad Thoggen doesn’t meet your needs… I found it to be a very balanced application: between simplistic and overly complicated.

Was it too targetted at Ogg Theora?
