I recently lost my adapter/recharger for my Nokia 770 – anyone know where/how I can get a replacement?

The 770 uses the same power adapter as all the recent Nokia N series cellphones.

Ah nice. I haven’t lost my power adapter but I have decided that I would really like a few more around the house.

I don’t suppose there is a charger cradle that works? I just want charging not sync.

Oh, I guess I do; my 770 got stolen. Whereabouts are you? I’m in Boston.

The AC-4E is probably the model you want: it’s, as Johan said, the same as the recent N-series mobiles. Even if you have an older (larger) Nokia adaptor, you can find plug converters, so you can still use your old charger, with your 770.

It’s also the same as a Nokia Communicator charger, which may be easier to find.

    It’s the same as the charger for the Nokia N70, N90, N91, 6101, 6270, and 6280 phones.

I had to get a new one when the little metal end broke on the existing charger. I got one cheap on ebay.

If you have an old nokia recharger you can buy an adaptor from nokia to use it with their new N series ans 770. It costs about 6€ in Spain

Thanks for the info everyone – with this I was able to get a Nokia N70 compatible charger at the local store, although I can’t help thinking I got fleeced at €15. That was after shopping around, too!

generic nokia chargers can be had for <10$ on ebay... but you have to consider shipping etc
