Thank you
October 16, 2007 5:13 am Indiana, OpenSolaris, SunI’d just like to express a big Thank you to all the people who came to Santa Cruz this weekend for the OpenSolaris Developer Summit. I had an excellent time meeting everyone from right across the community, and I hope those that attended had a bunch of fun too. Hope to see the numbers grow when we do it again in 6 months time.
I’d also, of course, like to thank the people in my team for rocking so hard, especially Jesse. And thanks to Sun too (Dan and Marc) for being willing to fund the event. I’m super pumped for the developer preview release at the end of the month, and charged to make the big push for a first release in Spring 2008.

It was great, everyone I talked to was very pleased with how it turned out (and all look forward to doing it again).
Big thanks to you, Sara, Jesse, (and probably other people whose names I’m forgetting).

Guys – thanks for a great event. I confess to being a bit shallow sometimes… I totally love the cool swag you guys came up with! The laptop bag is great, the hoodie is to cause envy. My boss came in my cube today and said, “Where’s mine?” Well, wish you had been in Santa Cruz, boss!
And of course, getting everyone together and talking is great.
Thanks again, good work!
