May 5, 2004 8:26 am GeneralThe post by Jeff nearly finally convinced me that flags should not go into the GNOME distribution. The only comment I can make is that one of the gswitchit-plugins (this package is not bound to any kind of correctness, including political – and I am not going to resign from it any time soon) will provide the ability to download and use flags on per-user basis (easily and user-friendly though probably not HIG-compliant). So GNOME will remain innocent – and feature-hungry users will get what they want. As simple as that..
