Ha!
So we finally started shipping devices to those accepted in the developer program. Soon after crispin and others announcing their devices being in the mail already, people started to whine it’s not shipping in the US yet. Oh, silly americans…
I knew someone would forgot one of the smaller countries. Or maybe things are just caught in red tape or something.

Does that mean that US developers won’t receive confirmation codes until later?
(I’m still waiting for my code, and I just want to make sure it wasn’t eaten by a spam filter.)
I’m not privy to that level of detail related to shipping. I can only assume the developer devices will be shipping everywhere, but I don’t really know when exactly where. From what I’ve seen in #gnome-hackers no one in the US has received their codes yet.
Any idea when someone will actually be able to buy one?

During Q4. Getting to Christmas market would obviously be a good thing, but I’m in no position to make such promises. I just work there =)
Are the devices that were raffled at the GUADEC Nokia event finally being shipped as well?
Yes, we’re now shipping devices to “qualified” developers; those who have won a device in GUADEC or other events, those who were accepted in the developer program, and those we just want to bribe^Wsend presents to.
Even if you live on the new continent (eg Canada)?
I think it’s just a matter of being on the wrong side of the pond, or somewhere where we don’t have a distribution centre up and running yet. It just takes a bit longer to get everything rolling. The developer program devices will be delivered even if end user sales won’t start in your region immediately.
EU countries can order the device now – check out:
