maemo at FOSDEM

teuf, you can stop bugging me now. It appears I’ll be coming to
FOSDEM this year. I’ll be *gulp* making
a presentation about maemo but I haven’t yet
decided what about exactly. If there’s something specific you’d like to hear
about, let me know.

I haven’t been to Brussels before so I’d be interested in hints about places to
visit just in case I manage to extend my stay an extra day or two.

Great ! That’s a conference i’ll just definitevly not miss.

If your visiting Brussels, like in any touristic guide i guess, i’ll recommend you to see the “Grand Place” we’re you’ll see the famous “Maneken Pis”. The Atomium is also a must-see (it’s a little the brussels eiffel tower).
Ho, and try to get some french-fries, which is in fact, despit of their the name, one of the greatest belgian speciality (with chocolate)

A great place to “test” frech-fries is “Chez Antoine, Place Jourdan”, a little site around European Comission. For visiting, I’ll recommand “Avenue Louise”, or “Le Sablon”, that’s more typical and give a good idea of Belgian spirit…
