Last week i went to Encuentro Linux at UAS, nice chance to see old friends there, and to feel what GNOME power is, people there, mostly students was very interested in the project, most of them as user but i have a little hope to get people hacking. Also was good to talk in Talca where i live after one year, is not very common to do it, always going to other cities or countrys, so i’m very happu to share experience with people at my town.

Last weeks i’ve been working in gedit, with its plugin interface for python, there’s a python-console based on pygtk’s examples implemented as a plugin for gedit, all of this a proof of concept, i’ve added some enhancements like run script. Now i guess that should be better to add a terminal plugin based on VTE, at least we’ve one on PIDA. Let’s look what it happens.
