No matter your opinion on Gov.

No matter your opinion on Gov.

No matter your opinion on Gov. Gary Johnson, this speaks to the lack of a truly good candidate being presented by either major party, and the willingness of a lot of the MSM to finally rebuke the false Republicrat dichotomy and status quo.

  1. My thought on this is that Clinton is not appreciably different than most prior presidents, but is being held to a higher standard partly because of sexism, but also because of her experience. Most other candidates in the primary were unknown unknowns, but with equal sorts of baggage.

The reality is that as a former governor, we’re likely to find the same sorts of weaknesses and mistakes in Johnson. I wish he’d been allowed in the debates so we could reasonably discuss his weaknesses (as happened when Sanders started the debates)

Being Canadian, I think you’ll find it unsurprising that I think that taxes here should be much higher and that social services should be increased. Given the choice between Clinton and Trump, it’s unclear whether or not Americans are starting to move to that point of view. I think vaguely they might be, given the popularity that Sanders showed in the primaries.
