Pass Go.
Forget the $200.
Go directly to Park Place.
And fuck the god of war.
Shared publicly because Susan, Jessica Cummings, Rugger Ducky, Kee Hinckley, Sarah Lester, Karen Carlson, Dan Ramos, Geoffrey Snyder and all my other G+ peeps need to feel free to share this during this election cycle.
Fuck.
The.
God.
Of.
War.
Will have to wait until I have headphones. His voice is in that range I can’t hear in the left, and the kid is watching Elena of Avalor again.
Rugger Ducky Duckling always takes priority.
Like I need to say it.
Lovely thoughts, but sometimes peace and justice come only after an ugly fight. People forget that so easily once those things have been around awhile.
Jessica Cummings Ares was the Greek god of war, and was accompanied by Fear, Terror, and Discord. He represented the violent aspect of war.
Athena was a war goddess, but represented the qualities of strategy and good leadership.
Maybe, “Fuck Ares,” should be the sentiment. 🙂
If this “Fuck the God of War” business is all that…why do we need so many guns? oooooh, did she just say that out loud???
So, “Fuck Trump, Vote Hillary”? 😉
Because sometimes it takes good people willing to do what is right to stop evil. And you can’t always do that by asking nicely.
Not to mention that target shooting is an enjoyable pastime.
Kurt von Finck as a democratic socialist Seattle area liberal, I joined the Army at 17. I believed then and now in the importance of having a wall of protectors.
To quote General Omar Bradley, considered by most to be the epitome of “the soldier’s soldier” when called a war hawk:
I serve not to promote war, but to preserve peace.
“Sometimes it takes good people willing to do what is right to stop evil.” Exactly. The problem is figuring out who the good guys are, who the bad ones are, and what, exactly, is the “evil.” You’ll get 10 different answers from 10 different people.
Rugger Ducky Bradley was Athena. Patton was Ares.
Patton entered WW2 outranking Bradley. When the war was over, Bradley outranked Patton.
There’s a lesson there.
Kurt von Finck agree 100% with that. Bradley was a thinker, Patton just a war lover. It’s good actually he died in that Jeep accident, can you imagine what a pain in the ass he would have been as a civilian?
Kurt von Finck so would Eisenhower have been Ulysses?
Rugger Ducky Agamemnon. But without the poutiness. 😉
