Logitech Unifying Hardware Required

Does anyone have a spare Logitech Unifying dongle I can borrow? I specifically need the newer Texas Instruments version, rather than the older Nordic version.

You can tell if it’s the version I need by looking at the etching on the metal USB plug, if it says U0008 above the CE marking then it’s the one I’m looking for. I’m based in London, UK if that matters. Thanks!

    1. Well, more like £10, and so far all of the sellers who responded are actually selling the U0007 version when you ask them for confirmation on the etched version (although that could be a UK quirk).

  1. It’s also available for £10 directly from Logitech’s online parts store, but I doubt they’ll confirm the version for you.

    1. That’s actually a clone; although it *should* work the same I don’t have a lot of confidence that the U0008 on the plug matches the hardware inside, also given it’s a mm or two larger. A real Unifying receiver has the CE mark and the sides have little ridges that allow you to remove the dongle with your fingertips.

  2. Yeah I’ve got one you can borrow, I’m in the UK, so can post it to you
if you e-mail me you address. It came with a Touchpad T650 didn’t work very well with gnome/linux.

  3. Hello Richard,

I have one you can borrow for a while as I am using bluetooth. I live in East London. Please drop me an email.

    1. I’ve already got one person sending me one, and Logitech have been in touch about sending other hardware, so can I keep you as a backup? Thanks!
