Acer has now officialy joined the LVFS, promoting the Aspire A315 firmware to stable.
Acer has been testing the LVFS for some time and now all the legal and technical checks have been completed. Other models will follow soon!

These guys have been a bane to linux.
Their buggy error throwing bios is shit. Their support is non-existent. They are(were) a windows 10 only firmware chop shop.
At least there is one single glimmer of hope now, whereas before there was none. Thanks Richard.
