Shotwell 0.11.5 Released!

Yorba has just released Shotwell 0.11.5, a bug-fix release of our popular GNOME-based photo manager. This release fixes an issue in which Shotwell could crash when using the “Import from F-Spot” feature for the subset of users who continued to experience this problem after the 0.11.4 upgrade. We recommend that all users upgrade.

Download a source tarball from the Shotwell home page at:
http://www.yorba.org/shotwell/

Or grab a binary for Ubuntu Natty or Oneiric at Yorba’s Launchpad PPA:
https://launchpad.net/~yorba/+archive/ppa

  1. i upgraded 0.11.1 into 0.11.2 and now into 0.11.5
i’m noticing that all my previous settings (cut and color/saturation regulations) are lost: i see thumbnail as i worked, but when i magnify one of that photos the original picture returns (and thumbnail turn into original as well).

    any way for avoiding this?

PS: (sorry for my bad english…)

PPS: i hope in “straighten image ” and a “choose white” buttons a.s.a.p πŸ™‚

    1. ah… i forgot to say that now i turned my Ubuntu into Xubuntu (don’t know, maybe the reason of that errors come from this)…

      1. Hi Ernesto,

The move from classic Ubuntu to Xubuntu is likely the problem here. That said, we’d like to make sure that other users moving to Xubuntu don’t have similar problems. How did you install Xubuntu? Did you back up your home directory then totally wipe your disk and install Xubuntu from a Live CD, or did you install Xubuntu over Ubuntu?

        Lucas
