I’m 53 years old. The same age as Brett Kavanaugh.
I am a flawed human being. I would consider myself unfit to serve on the SCOTUS, even with the proper education and experience (which I definitely lack). I have neither the temperament nor mens gravis to even be considered.
But, like Judge Kavanaugh, I graduated from high school in 1983. This is my high school yearbook quote:
The sky is crying. The streets are full of tears.
Rain come down wash away my fears.
And all this writing on the wall,
oh, I can read between the lines.
Read his. Read mine.
Remember, I consider myself unfit to serve even if qualified.
And there that is.
