Just released gedit 2.26.3. A small number of bugfixes, but worth a release nevertheless. Needless to say, there is also a dmg for OS X. No windows installer yet, but that’s sure to follow. From the NEWS:

Amazing work! I only miss the terminal in the bottom pane.
I’m having problems with non english layout keyboards. Any idea what I could do to fix that? A lot of special characters don’t work in gedit though they work fine in other programs.
eg. { which I get via Alt-7 in my icelandic layout does nothing in gedit.
I’m not sure how the key mapping is done on OS X, but it will definately be a problem in the GDK port of OS X. If you want, you can have a look at bugzilla.gnome.org and look for the ‘quartz’ component in the ‘gtk+’ product. There might already be a similar bug filed. Otherwise, you can file a bug there.
