Any chance bug 135056’s trivial fix will make it in 2.24? Is the fix even correct?

This is a 4-year-old bug, and while it’s not a deal breaker it annoys *many* people.
As I said in comment 25 there, it appears to be a partial fix. I suppose that’s better than nothing, though, and it should go in.
I must have missed comment #25 :) but nice that it’s going in!
