Live CD Artwork

Geek 2 Comments

Thanks to everyone that submitted artwork for the LiveCD, they were all good. I decided to go with the artwork that was used on the 2.10 LiveCD that Luis had sent me, I just loved the big foot on it :-D

Just ordered 1000 of them to give away at Linux World SF, thanks to rPath for paying the bill on that one.

Check out the new logo

We have been on the hunt for a new Foresight logo for some time, and I am glad to say we have finally chosen one.

Many thanks to Allison for her wonderful work and her patience in working with us on this. And thanks to everyone that helped by either submitting logos, providing feedback, and selection!

We will have GNOME LiveCDs to give away at Linux World in San Francisco. I need to get the images of to press by July 11th, but I don’t have artwork. Luis has sent me the artwork used for the 2.10 CD, so worse case I can crop out the “2.10″, but I would really love something that didn’t specify the version.

Here is what I have from 2.10

Support GNOME at LWE SF

Linux World Expo in San Francisco is approaching quickly, and so far I have only lined up one volunteer to work in the GNOME booth, Paul Cutler.

I am looking for volunteers to hang out with us in SF and help with the booth (August 6-9). Anyone interested? It should be fun… please raise your hand if you live in the bay area or can handle the travel. We have 8 passes for the booth, 2 of which are spoken for. So lets use up those other 6 :)

If you are interested, please comment on this post or send me an email (kvandine AT gnome DOT org).

Cape Lookout was fun!

Ashlyn tried body surfing for the first time.

Her last trip to the ocean she was pretty scared of the waves, but this weekend she was jumping right in with me.
