Well, we did it… released Foresight Desktop Linux 0.9.0 on GNOME 2.12 release day. Been such a crazy week, that I haven’t had a chance to blog about it. Looks pretty good, and am quite excited about it. Here is why:
- New default music library/player, Banshee.
- GNOME Power Manager
- Updated Udev, Hal, DBus, and GNOME Volume Manager… I can plug in my USB stick and nautilus opens… makes me happy
- Of course I am excited about the latest GNOME 🙂
- GNOME Sudoku, need I say more?
- Grub splash image, no more ugly black screen in the boot manager
And, not so distro related… we have a new website design, looks great! Thanks Jon!
