If you read Planet Ubuntu you’ll see a few posts about “5”, the 5 a day initiative it’s a really way to start contributing to Ubuntu and the Free Software in general and I’ve always had the impression that some of GNOME related packages (ie: Anjuta, Banshee, Beagle, etc) at Universe aren’t getting a lot of their bugs triaged, that’s why since a few day ago I’ve started to do “5 a day” on them and I hope to have them in a good state in the short term. By the way as commented on my previous post I’ll be around Lima at the end of next week and it seems to be the perfect time to start doing some 5 with the local people, if you’re interested on it just come by the conference place and let’s do some 5 together!.
Month: February 2008
Get Involved!
Involucrate (Get Involved) that’s the name of the Peruvian conference I’m going next week, Diego Escalante Urrelo invited me to give a couple of talks, as the conference name says it’s a really good place where to talk to people and get more involded on Free Software projects, If you’re close to Lima those days you *have* to go, It’ll be really great
Thanks a *LOT* to the GNOME Foundation for sponsoring the event (my flight included) 🙂
