Wig, Beard and Computer Lessons

Today I decided to clean my ibook because it was so dirty. Actually, it was getting grey. When I was cleaning the keyboard I found a lot of hair bellow the keys. I could even produce a wig with that hair!

What is intriguing is that most the hair I found in the keyboard was concentrated around the letters “a”, “w”, and “s”. Most of the hair seems to come from my beard. Some things I learnt from this:

  1. My hair is mostly falling from the left side of my head. Probably, some day I’ll become a left-balded man. This will be horrible!
  2. When I’m thinking about cool things (mostly in front of a computer) I use to pull my beard off.

Computers gives you wonderful oportunities to know yourself!

  1. I cleaned my keyboard recently and found lots of hair, among other junk. The weird thing is that most of it was either too long or not the right color to be my hair or my current roommates’ hair.

  2. Maybe you more often than not have your right hand on your mouse, and your left hand sometimes absent-mindedly stroking your scalp or beard. The hair combed off on your left hand is transferred to the left side of the keyboard, and works its way down into it during typing.

  3. Lucas, you should really launch gimp and modify a photo so you know how you’ll look like in the future. I mean, I’m pretty sure you’ll get a huge success when left-balded! ;-)

  4. Hilarious blog entry, Lucas! The only solution I see to avoid cleaning the keyboard regularly: shave your beard an your left hair!
